Who does the Food Pantry serve?
The pantry serves a range of ages, races, genders, individuals and families living in Pembroke Pines and the surrounding cities. Who works in the Food Pantry?
All workers are volunteers. We are proud of our dedicated, loyal volunteer force. Our committed individuals make it possible for the Food Pantry to reach those in need. When is the Food Pantry open?

There is a specific list of food for recipients, with the quantity depending on the size of the family and our food in stock.

How can you become a Food Pantry recipient?
You can call or email Ms. Dany and request food. You will be notified when to come in on a regular basis. Currently recipients are provided food twice a month. Ms. Dany 954-907-1562 Where does the Food Pantry get its groceries?
The Food Pantry is funded by offerings designated for the Food Pantry, a grant from Thrivent Financial, and donations from members of our community. What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your ID and grocery bags to carry your food home with you. We recommend reusable shopping bags, but they are not required, plastic bags can be used. Did you know?
During the Summer months, food supply is particularly low due to fewer food drives being held by volunteers. Also, our families need more food in the Summer as their kids are not receiving free breakfast and lunch as they do while at school. |
